Transfer files between your PC and devices with iTunes
If you have an iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 4 or later, or an iPad, you can use iTunes to transfer files between your reckoner and your device using apps that support file sharing. You might want to practise this if, for example, you desire to salve files you create on your device to your reckoner, or take files with y'all so you can apply them when you're away from your reckoner.

Transfer files between your iPhone, iPad, or iPod impact and your computer

Connect your device to your computer.
